Kinneret Innovation Center
An entrepreneurial community and innovation hub for agriculture and food technology solutions
Nestled in the heartland of the thriving Jordan Valley’s agricultural community, the Kinneret Innovation Center (KIC) is a technology innovation hub and a “living lab”, established to provide a holistic environment for the development and in-field testing of innovative agriculture and food technology solutions that could help feed the world in a responsible and sustainable way.
The KIC is founded on the partnership between the Kinneret Academic College and Zemach Regional Industries Ltd, a cooperative owned by 27 agricultural communities in the Jordan Valley. The Center’s HQ offices are located on the banks of the Sea of Galilee, on campus at the Kinneret Academic College.
The KIC aims to attract and develop new talent, ideas, entrepreneurs, investments and enterprises to the Jordan Valley, leveraging the extensive assets of the founders and strategic partners and the agricultural heritage to create new economic levers and rewarding employment opportunities in the region
The partnership with KIC (Kinneret Innovation Center) is based on an interface between the academy and industry. High-tech companies and organizations operate at the center and combine their activity with academic personnel. Kinneret College is a leader in the following fields: engineering: software, electricity and electronics, water industries, gas and oil energy as well as quality and reliability.
The Innovation center operates as a domain for promoting and advancing startup companies, as an incubator for innovation, the student will share the experience of innovation center.
